Alon Wolfman

…holds a dual B.Comm and B.Sc. in Computer Science and holds a Certified Public Accountant designation from the State of Illinois (2002).  Prior to co-founding BlueThera, Alon served as Manager, Leasing & Acquisitions at Lansdowne Equity Ventures Ltd, a privately held commercial real estate investment firm, where Alon was responsible for a $125M commercial portfolio comprising of over 600,000 sq.ft. of retail, office and industrial properties, including leasing, acquisitions, asset management, operations and capital projects.  From 2015 – 2018, Alon also served as Vice President, Corporate Development at Quantifi, a Calgary-based financial technology company specializing in sub-prime auto finance, where he oversaw early-stage growth of the company.  Alon has also spent over eight years in sales and business development in the oil and gas technology sector and was instrumental in the growth of Rougheck.ca, a leading provider of software solutions for the oil and gas industry, leading to its sale in 2015 to Zedi Inc.  Following the sale, Alon managed the Roughneck portfolio as Director of Operations Management Solutions, with responsibility for sales, marketing, channel partnerships, new market and product opportunities, R&D and customer support and the various teams assigned to these roles (sales, marketing, customer support, development etc..).  Alon has also consulted to various small technology firms to help them implement sales strategies, business development and channel partner management.  Alon began his career in Advisory and Assurance at Andersen.  At BlueThera, Alon is responsible for corporate and business development, corporate finance, investor and stakeholder relations, permitting and construction oversight.
